Poway Valley Riders Association offers:

  • 14 acres of multi-discipline arenas and riding areas for horse enthusiasts of all levels

  • PVRA member-families, exhibitors and spectators enjoy over 30 organized events held annually

  • Poway Valley Riders Association is also home to multiple equine groups: Poway Polo Club, Poway Valley Pony Club, Poway Horsemaster’s Club, Shooting Stars Drill Team and the Poway Rodeo

Rattlesnakes may be found on the grounds. They are not aggressive, but will strike to defend themselves if disturbed. All rattlesnakes in California are venomous and potentially dangerous. Be alert where you place your hands and feet and where you are riding. For more information visit www.CaliforniaHerps.com

The Poway Valley Riders Association was established in 1960 to foster a diversified interest in horses and family related activities, with an emphasis on encouraging young people to take an interest in our Club. Because all Club activities, including the maintenance of our 14-acre grounds on Tierra Bonita Road, require a great deal of volunteer time and effort, the participation of our members is vital to the Club’s continuing existence and success.
